 DDR Outdoor Services was founded in spring 2023 by Danny Rodriguez, a former varsity baseball player who applies the same dedication and work ethic to landscaping. At just 20 years old, Danny set out to create a company built on professionalism, attention to detail, and respect for clients.
What started as a small lawn care operation has rapidly grown into a full-service landscaping company. In just two years, DDR Outdoor Services has expanded to multiple crews and vehicles, serving 120+ weekly maintenance clients across northern Illinois and completing numerous design and installation projects.
Our team, primarily former Hampshire High School baseball players, values teamwork, discipline, and precision—skills that translate perfectly to landscaping. We take pride in our professional appearance, from uniformed crews to well-maintained equipment, and actively support the local community through sponsorships and donations.
At DDR Outdoor Services, our mission is simple: create beautiful outdoor spaces while saving clients time, handling everything from routine maintenance to complex installations with care and precision.

When do you guys start/stop mowing?
When we start mowing varies year to year as well as by each lawn and the health of the lawn. However, typical lawns will be serviced starting early-mid April and will end service mid-late October.
When should I Aerate & Overseed my lawn?
Aeration, dethatching and overseeding has the best results early spring when the grass is still relatively dormant. These services can also be done early fall when the temperatures start cooling.
